- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: First Shipment of Argentine Beef. DESCRIPTION: Arriving aboard the liner Alcantara, over 1,200 tons of meat from Argentina have reached Southampton. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV dock - mostly cranes, a London dock. MS Alcantara alongside quay. CU names on bows. Looking down in hold, crane load of meat coming up towards camera. Various shots of meat (beef) being off loaded. CU one sack, labelled Frozen Meat - Chilled Quality. Various shots of same being placed on trucks & eventually to warehouses.
