MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Eden at Big Empire Day Rally. DESCRIPTION: Mr Anthony Eden received a cordial reception when he addressed a big Empire Day Rally at Harringay Arena. His main theme was, of course, the British Empire but he had something pertinent to say about events in Persia. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. MS Eden waving to crowds, few people standing around. Arrival of Eden acknowledging crowds. Various shots of the large crowd. Eden stands & starts to address gathering. Ladies & Gentlemen, we are being pushed around a bit too much of late, etc. etc. Mr Eden speaks on the Persian subject. Various cut-ins of crowds, listening & applauding.
