- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Kansas Flood Havoc (Aftermath). DESCRIPTION: President Truman (whose home-town is only ten miles from Kansas City) has made a personal survey of the floods. The Devastation is spread far and wide over three States - Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV flooded after floods had receded. Inside plane, Truman seated looks out of window. Air-to-air shot of plane in flight. Various shots of the aftermath, the waters having receded, workmen clearing away mud, from house, shops, wrecked cars fill the streets, absolute havoc.
