Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Harriman’s Visit. DESCRIPTION: Mr Harriman and his wife were met by Mr Gifford, US Ambassador in London, when they arrived at London Airport from Persia. Sir Francis Shepherd, Britain’s Ambassador in Teheran [sic], who had come with Mr Harriman, gave a brief interview. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Black & white title card. Harriman’s plane taxies in. Harriman alights greeted by Mr Gifford, Mrs Harriman with party. Group on tarmac, Mr & Mrs Harriman, Mr Gifford, Sir Francis Shepherd. Harriman interviewed about his visit to Persia.
