Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Their Majesties Leave for Balmoral. DESCRIPTION: Many Londoners gathered at the approach to Buckingham Palace to see Their Majesties leave for their Summer holiday. They arrived at Euston shortly after Princess Anne and Prince Charles for their journey to Balmoral. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Crowd shots. Angle shots of Standard flying on top of Buckingham Palace. Various angle shots of palace. Royal car with King & Queen passes, crowds run towards car. Euston Station, car with Prince Charles & Princess Anne arrive, Princess Anne waves out of window. The two outside car. Royal car arrives King & Queen alight. Cut-in crowds. Royal coaches passing camera pulls out of station, with LMS (London Midland Scottish) on side.
