MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sport - Ankarah Wins. DESCRIPTION: At London’s Empress Hall, Tommy McGovern met Roy Ankarah (from the Gold Coast) in a 10-round battle at nine stone eleven. After a pretty even fight, it must have been hard to pick the winner, but Ankarah got the verdict. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Tommy McGovern & Roy Ankarah boxing in 9 stone 11 lbs weight. Various shots of the fight, taken from various angles. McGovern hits low & shakes hands with Ankarah. End of fight. Ankarah the winner.
