MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Eagle Ready for Service. DESCRIPTION: The aircraft-carrier HMS Eagle, the twenty-first ship of the Royal Navy to bear that name, was launched in 1946 by Princess Elizabeth at Belfast. The 37,000 ton ship, commanded by Captain Guy Willoughby, was commissioned last month and has been undergoing machinery and manoeuvrability trials in the Clyde Estuary. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS.
