- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Australian Bush Fire. DESCRIPTION: Australia’s bush fires continue to devastate vast areas; in the Moree District of New South Wales, farmers are seen driving their flocks away from fires reported to be sweeping towards their land. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV countryside burning & smoking. GV flames as grass burns. Cattle run before blazing countryside, sheep. Men fighting the flames. Various shots of fires burning. Cut-in person pointing out several spots. GV fire-breaker, shows house untouched. Farmers surrounding fence burnt to ground. Pan of cattle, mostly sheep killed by the fires. Sheep who have survived hobble about on blistered feet.
