Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Underwater Television. DESCRIPTION: The Underwater Television camera was recently demonstrated at Tolworth, and a cameraman, wearing frogman’s equipment went down into the test tank. The point of the demonstration was to show the use of television far below the surface. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Through porthole in testing tank, diver holding television camera. Camera being put in water tight case, MS gantry camera & lights fitted on same. Frogman going down with camera, shots of him underwater, also as seen on television screen. Various shots of diver at work, also diver burning steel.
