Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Queen’s Birthday Inspection. DESCRIPTION: Windsor Castle provided a magnificent setting for the parade by the Grenadier Guards on the Queen’s birthday. Members of the Royal Family watched the inspection - a particular thrill for the Duke of Cornwall. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV parade. Grenadier Guards paraded. Queen inspects them. Royal Family at window watching included Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Princess Margaret. Duke of Edinburgh in civilian clothes & bowler hat on platform. Queen addresses parade. Grenadiers march past, cut-in Queen at saluting base.
