Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: London Buses Home From America. DESCRIPTION: A reception party on the Horse Guards Parade, welcomed back to London three London Buses which have been touring the United States and Canada. Mr Lennox-Boyd, Minister of Transport and Lord Latham, of the London County Council were there to receive them. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Crews in front of buses. Pearlies wait to greet them in front. Buses come into space in front St James’s Palace. CU various registrations in front of buses. Mr Lennox-Boyd and Lord Latham congratulate crews. Crowds look on. Pennants from towns on buses. Buses drive away with normal passengers on for ordinary duties on old route.
