DESCRIPTION: Ten thousand people went to the Temple Golf Club to see Ted Ray and Donald Peers play Bob Hope and Bing Crosby in a match organised by the Variety Club of Great Britain in aid of the National Playing Fields Association. All time players almost swamped by crowds.
