Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Keenan Wins By Technical Knock-Out. DESCRIPTION: Peter Keenan of Glasgow (holder) met Frankie Williams of Birkenhead (the challenger) at the Ice Rink, Paisley. The fight was for the Bantam-weight title of Great Britain. Keenan was awarded the decision when, in the seventh round, Williams was obviously well beaten and the referee stopped the bout. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Boxers enter ring. Various shots during fight, cut-ins of audience. Williams floored several times by Keenan. Shots during fifth round & seventh round, shows Williams badly knocked about. Referee stops fight. CU Keenan with Lonsdale Belt on. End of first round shows Keenan being tended by seconds over his cut eye. Bantam-Weight Title Great Britain.
