MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: News Briefs - Berlin-Russian Angle. DESCRIPTION: The Russians have prepared a no-man’s land to control the flow of refugees from East to West, but Red troops cross to the Red Army Memorial. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Deserted street of Berlin. Various shots of ruined Berlin also, Berliners travelling by tram & transferring at certain point, to enter Russian zone. Train tunnels sealed off. Russians enter British zone carrying wreaths (35th Red Army Day) walk to the Russian Monument, lay wreaths. Russian troops march back into Russian zone. CU Russian sentry at attention.
