Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Wedding of Prince Jean of Luxembourg & Princess Josephine Charlotte of Belgium. DESCRIPTION: Big crowds collected, of course, to see the arrival of Princess Josephine Charlotte of Belgium, who was welcomed at the frontier by her bridegroom-to-be, Prince Jean of Luxembourg, on the eve of their wedding. On the day itself, the ceremony in the Palace was followed by the solemnisation in the 13th century Cathedral. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Car passing camera carrying bride to cathedral. Prince Jean & Princess Charlotte arrive on eve of wedding, drive through streets. Crowds - in streets. Bride & father - King Leopold walk down aisle. CU bride. Elevated GV of ceremony. Bride & groom walk down aisle, followed by ex-King Leopold, Grand Duchess Charlotte; Queen Elizabeth of Belgium, with Prince Felix of Luxembourg; Queen Juliana with King Baudouin of the Belgians. Various shots driving through the streets back to the palace, Prince waves, also the Princess.
