Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Internees Home. DESCRIPTION: Arriving at the RAF Station at Abingdon, a Hastings Transport aircraft taxied close up to the crowd waving a welcome; relatives, friends, members of the Salvation Army - all were there to greet the internees back from Korea. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Hastings aircraft taxies. Ditto. Relatives & crowds wave. Internees from Korea alight from plane, led by Captain Vyvian Holt. Crowds embrace internees. Holt speaks about his internment, cut-ins cameramen with sound cameras. CU Holt speaking. Pan to CU Blake, of Seoul Legation, Mr Owen, an internee embraces his wife & child. Owen speaks. Father Thomas Quinlan speaks. Finally Commissioner Lord of Salvation Army speaks.
