Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Coronation Coach Rehearsal. DESCRIPTION: Large numbers of people gathered along the Coronation route early in the morning to see the Coronation rehearsal. They were rewarded by a first-class view of the magnificent, but empty, coach. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Early morning shot small crowds outside Palace, crowds around Queen Victoria Memorial. Procession leaving Palace. Empty state coach leaves. Arrival at Westminster Abbey. Trumpeters playing. Procession leaves, going along Whitehall troops marching into Trafalgar Square.
