- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Edinburgh Festival. DESCRIPTION: Year by year, the Festival has grown in popularity. One of the items on the programme is a production of Hamlet, which stars Claire Bloom, Richard Burton and Fay Compton, who are seen during an interval between rehearsals. The Skirl of the pipes at Murrayfield usher in the Highland Games. Another attraction of the Festival is the Tattoo with its marching and counter-marching.
