- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Persian Upheaval. DESCRIPTION: Literally overnight, the whole picture was reversed in Tehran, when the royalists took over control and Mossadeq was arrested. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Demonstrations in streets. Mobs pushing and shouting through town. Statue of Shah’s father pulled to ground, GV coming down. Elevated GV crowds rushing through streets. Lorries carry shouting crowds. Later shouting crowds (Royalists) wave in front of palace. Carrying huge banners of Shah’s picture.
