- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hopping Season Opens. DESCRIPTION: The Hopping season has begun, and in the Hop fields of Kent, large numbers of people get busy. If not a complete holiday, it’s a change - and they get paid for it, too. SHOTLIST: Cut story - CU name of place Paddock Wood. Families arrive with all kinds of luggage. Walk down road pushing prams etc., some travel by tractor etc. Move into huts provided. Making beds, drinking tea, generally moving in. GV rows of hop plants. Various scenes of picking and packing of same. Whole families at work. CU hops growing.
