MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Col. Carne Gets Vc. DESCRIPTION: Now, another investiture at Buckingham Palace, at which Lieutenant-Colonel Carne received the VC and the DSO. SHOTLIST: Cut story - People gathered in forecourt of Buckingham Palace after investitures have been received. Colonel Carne comes from place after receiving VC and the DSO. Colonel Carne saluted and greeted by a soldier. The Colonel then stands with his son and wife and displays his medal.
