MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Colours Laid Up. DESCRIPTION: Two hundred members of the 2nd Battalion, Grenadier Guards, were at Liverpool for the ceremony of laying-up the Battalion’s Old Colours. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Liverpool Cathedral through mist. Band of Grenadier Guards past camera. Guards with fixed bayonets march past, Lord Jeffreys, Lord Derby and Lord Mayor who take the salute. Colours marched up steps into Cathedral.
