Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Premier Home. DESCRIPTION: Flying from Bermuda, Sir Winston Churchill brought the French Premier (Monsieur Laniel) with him in Canopus and at London Airport they said goodbye, for Monsieur Laniel was to be taken on to Paris. Sir Miles Thomas and the Chancellor of the Exchequer were two among a gathering of distinguished people, come to greet the Premier. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Canopus taxies. Churchill at door plane followed by Laniel. Sir Winston shakes hands with Laniel. Laniel waves at door. Churchill down steps. Ministers wait to greet Churchill. The Premier is seen with Sir Miles Thomas and Mr Butler. Churchill across to his car. Pauses to light cigar prior to entering.
