MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sport - Davis Cup - Final Scenes. DESCRIPTION: In Melbourne, Australia retained the Davis Cup for the fourth consecutive year. The heroes of the series were Hoad and Rosewall, who, at nineteen, had never played in the Cup before. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Various shots of match played between Rosewall and Seixas. Rosewall wins to clinch Davis Cup for Australia. Spectators go wild, throw cushions etc. onto court. Winning team including Hoad and Rosewall round the Davis Cup. SCU with Cup in fore.
