MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: North Africa - French Manoeuvres and Indo China Action. DESCRIPTION: In Indo-China French forces counter-attack strongly in the Dien-Bien-Phu area. Monsieur Pleven decorated the French Commander-in-Chief in Indo-China, General Navarre, as Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour. SHOTLIST: INDO CHINA ACTION - Dien Bien Phu. Battle going on between French Forces & Viet-Minh forces. French troops on tanks over country. Shots of tanks bombarding positions. French troops running across open ground.
