Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Petrov Story. DESCRIPTION: At Sydney, with a Russian Courier holding either arm, Mrs Petrov is led to the waiting aircraft. Crowds had formed around the plane shouting at the Russians and trying to impede their progress. Finally Mrs Petrov was pushed into the plane, which was the occasion for yet more outbursts of indignation from the throng of people at the airport. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Night shot at airport. BOAC plane on tarmac. Mrs Petrov with two Russian couriers holding her arms is pushed aboard the plane, few people start shouting and then they try to pull stairs away from aircraft. Eventually Mrs Petrov is pushed aboard plane and plane takes off. Many people shouting etc.
