- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: ‘Entente Cordiale’. DESCRIPTION: To mark the 50th anniversary of the Entente Cordiale, a wreath was laid on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier by Mr Walter Elliot, who was visiting Paris, with a British delegation from the Houses of Parliament. At the Elysee Palace a reception was held and the British Ambassador, Sir Gladwyn Jebb, was among the visiting delegates. SHOTLIST: Cut story - At Unknown Warrior’s tomb.
