Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Duke in Paris. DESCRIPTION: Sir Gladwyn Jebb, Field Marshal Viscount Montgomery, Marshal Juin and General Gruenther were at Le Bourget Airport as the Duke’s personal Devon aircraft taxied in. The Duke of Edinburgh flew the plane himself across the Channel from Hendon. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Airport. Crowds wait for Duke to arrive. Welcoming committee are Lord Montgomery, Sir Gladwyn Jebb, General Gruenther, Marshal Juin. Plane lands. Duke at controls. Duke shakes hands with the above. Inspects Guard of Honour. Saluting.
