MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Gold Coast Elections. DESCRIPTION: The recent General Election held in the Gold Coast was carried out smoothly and quietly. The result was a victory for the Convention People’s Party. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Shots of people queuing for polling station. Votes being taken. Shots of voting box with designs on for the people who cannot read. Votes being counted. Result being written on boards. The winner Dr Nkrumah on balcony. Crowds waving etc.
