MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Battle of Phu-Ly. DESCRIPTION: Front line pictures of the violent battle for this important centre of communications. French aircraft and infantry attacked and the village was soon in flames. SHOTLIST: KS Sunset scene. Excellent shots of shells and bombs exploding on the town of Phu-Ly. French troops firing. Machine guns, Ack Ack guns etc. Troops run along road, sniping, running for cover etc. Various shots of ruins of town. Explosions. Refugees trudge back to town.
