MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: New Year Ski-Jump & Snow Scenes. DESCRIPTION: The Winter Sports season has opened at Garmisch-Partenkirchen with Ski-Jumping and Bob-Sled championships. Meanwhile, London and indeed most of Britain were suddenly involved in Winter sports - though of rather a different kind. SHOTLIST: GV number of skiers on a snowy slope.
