Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sammy the Seal Released. DESCRIPTION: A seal caught recently at New Brighton, has been returned to his friends at a nearby seal colony. SHOTLIST: First a shot of the seal in close-up standing still in the snow. He is then seen being loaded into a lorry, and the next shot is of a large area of snow covered beach with the vehicle conveying the seal proceeding across it towards the sea. (There are a few spectators). Finally, the seal is released. A shot of the RSPCA officials walking back across the frozen sand and a last look at Sammy before he submerges and swims back to his colony.
