- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Removing the Danger of An Avalanche at Snake-Pass. DESCRIPTION: A snow-cliff on the Manchester to Sheffield Road was recently exploded with gelignite. SHOTLIST: GV of the road through Snake Pass taken through the windscreen of a Land Rover. CU of a AA Danger Road Closed Notice. CU men preparing the charge which is to create a premature fall of the overhanging snow. The charge is fired and a GV of its effect.
