MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Geneva Conference. DESCRIPTION: The Big Four Geneva Conference has provided a large number of cameramen with plenty of work. A group picture of the Big Four leaders was taken by two hundred cameramen. Other items of interest to draw the cameramen was the shopping tour of President Eisenhower and the trip on Lake Geneva by Lady Eden, Madam Faure and Mrs Eisenhower. President Eisenhower later visited the UNO building to inspect the atomic reactor installed there. SHOTLIST: Aerial of the Palace de Nations. GV of Geneva Bridge. GV of press photographers. CU of Bulganin and Faure shaking hands, then Eden and Dulles. GV of 200 press photographers standing on wall. CU of the Big Four sitting in chairs. Bulganin, Eisenhower, Eden and Faure. Eisenhower looking through window. Inside shop shakes hands with shop keeper. Looks around. CUs of dolls. CU 2 pressmen. Ladies walk towards camera - board ship. Lady Eden, Madame Faure and Mrs Eisenhower at the stern of the ship. Launch at speed followed by smaller craft. Eisenhower looking at atomic reactor. Various shots. Eisenhower speaks CU. President Eisenhower says: In the meantime I hope that everybody gets a chance to see this and will learn that there is really many, many ways in which Atomic Science can be used for the benefit of mankind instead of the destruction. Thank you very much.
