MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Jap Riots in Tokyo. DESCRIPTION: An important American Air Base near Tokyo is being expanded and local inhabitants started fires in protest. They objected to their farmland being used in this way. SHOTLIST: CU surveyors at work. CU rioters pushing at them and their equipment. CU smoke fires being started. CU Japanese police advancing on rioters and attempting to put the fires out. CU fights and scuffles between rioters and police. LS USAF plane coming in to land on the airstrip.
