Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Scenes of Addis Ababa and Selassie at Military Parade. DESCRIPTION: The Ethiopian capital has been much in the news, lately because of the Emperor’s Jubilee. The town is fast becoming a city of wide streets and modern buildings. The final scenes of the Jubilee celebrations, was a military parade. SHOTLIST: GV aerial shots of town. CU modern buildings, flats etc. GV parade, infantry and military band march past. CU Emperor Selassie takes the salute. CU armoured car detachment drive past. CU old Ethiopian warriors ride past on horse, in native costume and head gear. CU Selassie saluting parade. CU Imperial Bodyguard ride past on horse.
