- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Malaya Peace Talks. DESCRIPTION: The town of Baling was all agog, on the day of the so-called peace talks. The Chief Ministers of Federation, and of Singapore, were accompanied by Sir Chen Lock Tan. SHOTLIST: GVs streets in Baling, crowds and banners. CU Marshall and Prince Abdal Rahman arrive at conference site, alight from car and salute guard. CU Chen Lock Tan arrives on foot. CU special quarters for communists. CU interior of communist quarters with bare room and beds, toothpaste and soap on bed. CU Chin Peng enters conference room with his delegation and sits down. CU Marshall, Rahman and Tan enters and sit down.
