MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Monte Carlo Rally - Start. DESCRIPTION: Sixty nine of the British entrants to this year’s Monte Carlo Rally chose to leave from Glasgow, one of the seven starting points. SHOTLIST: Glasgow - MCU of car number plate and number in the rally. TPS of cars in a line all with their bonnets up. MCU of lady tightening up something on the car. Various shots of people giving their cars a last check. CU of a sand spray inside one car. MCU of sand coming out of the car near the rear wheel.
