Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Queen Among Her People. DESCRIPTION: Government House, Kaduna and the Queen holds an investiture, she honoured Emir Alahji Haruna with the OBE and on the Sultan of Sokoto, she bestowed the accolade of Knighthood. The Durbar held that morning, began with a march past, by Chieftains and their retinues. A procession marches slowly past the Royal Pavilion in salute to the Queen.
