Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Queen Departs From Nigeria. DESCRIPTION: Kano, the ancient walled city of the Northern Region, gave the final welcome to Her Majesty and the Duke as they made their last ceremonial drive of the tour. That evening at the Airport the Queen ended her visit to Nigeria. SHOTLIST: Shots of Kano. LS of Hausa people on horse back in a line. Various CUs of Hausa people. Various shots of the crowds. Various shots of the Duke and Queen driving towards the Emir of Kano’s Palace (Palace in the foreground). MCU Queen alights and is greeted by the Emir of Kano. Slip pan to Queen and Duke at top of the plane’s steps waving goodbye.
