DESCRIPTION: In Nicosia and all the chief towns and villages in Cyprus, a curfew was imposed because demonstrations were expected on Greek Independence Day. SHOTLIST: Scenes in Nicosia during curfew, only troops and police are seen in the streets. Shot of the Turkish mosque. Shot of the Greek Cathedral (silent bells) also shot of the English church decorated for Palm Sunday. Various scenes of shops closed, deserted streets with a stray dog here or there.
