- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Test Match at Lord’s (Second Day). DESCRIPTION: The second test drew thousands to Lord’s. The Mayor with Lord Alexander watched from the Pavilion. Ian Johnson won the toss and decided to bat. The crowd were treated to slow scoring cricket. McDonald and Burke were determined to lay a firm foundation for Australia’s first knock.
