MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: International Horse Show. DESCRIPTION: At White City, the Mounted Band of the Royal Horse Guards led the Welcome Parade at the opening of the International Horse Show. The Duke of Edinburgh presented Golden Spurs to Colonel Weldon and other members of the Olympic gold medal team. And whips to Pat Smythe and her Olympic bronze medal colleagues. SHOTLIST: Hounds, Terriers, horses. The mounted band of the Royal Horse Guards. Various teams led round. Duke of Edinburgh presents gold spurs to Colonel Weldon. Whips presented to Pat Smythe and the rest of the Olympic winning team (Wilf White and Peter Robeson). They then ride past Duke of Edinburgh.
