MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bakers Strike in Paris. DESCRIPTION: In Paris, the Bakers were on strike, as a protest against the Government’s refusal to allow them to put another franc on the price of a loaf. SHOTLIST: Scenes of long queues outside bakeries in Paris because of the strike which was called for by the Bakers Assembly, which gathered in the Salle Wagram to protest against the Government’s policy which forbids the baker raising his price by one franc.
