Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Night Express Crashes. DESCRIPTION: About a mile from Welwyn Garden City, the Night Express from Aberdeen crashed into the rear of a local train. Many coaches of the Express were derailed, but, there was only one fatality among the total of about 600 passengers travelling in the two trains. Between 20 and 30 were hurt. SHOTLIST: TPS over the crash. MCU crashed train. Various shots of wrecked carriages etc. Crane moving carriage.
