Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: India’s Independence Day (7th Anniversary). DESCRIPTION: The New Delhi parade was the centre of India’s 7th Independence Day celebration. Soviet Defence Minister, Marshal Zhukov was Mr Nehru’s principal guest for the occasion. One highlight of the march past was the Camel Corps, a modern touch was provided by the tanks.
