Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Nurburgring Car Race. DESCRIPTION: The German 1,000 kilometre sports car race over 625 miles of the twisting circuit of the Nurburg-ring in the Eifel Mountains. It was a red letter day for the British, who drove the first three cars across the line. Tony Brooks was the winner at a record speed and gave Aston Martin their first victory in a world championship series. SHOTLIST: MTPS drivers race across to their cars. Cars race off. Various shots of the race. Tony Brooks wins. Brooks drives in. MCU Union Jack flag flying. Tony Brooks and Noel Cunningham-Reid. NB; Stirling Moss raced in this race but was not seen in the film.
