MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Ibbotson’s Record. DESCRIPTION: The two miles, in which Knight beat Pirie, making one of London’s victories in a match eventually won by New York. The highlight of the whole meeting was the invitation mile, which was won by Ibbotson in 3 minutes fifty-seven point two, the next three men were also inside four minutes.
