MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Iceberg Patrol. DESCRIPTION: The North Atlantic ice patrol nowadays includes aircraft, of-course. And, escaping from a New York heat-wave, one of our cameramen flew with a spotter plane over the ships of the patrol. The giant blocks had broken away from a glacier and offered an amazing spectacle of fantastic shapes. SHOTLIST: In North Atlantic iceberg patrols play a great part for the safety of shipping. Cameramen fly with spotter planes. Ships on patrol in iceberg region. Various shots of ice flows and icebergs. Scenic.
