Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Christmas Mails. DESCRIPTION: For the Post Office, of-course, it’s a seasonal burden, but every year, it’s carried with the same good-natured efficiency. At a depot in South East London, well over 2 million parcels have to be sorted and sent in the right direction. Over in Florida, Santa has to travel on Kite-Skis. SHOTLIST: Shots of parcels arriving at top of chute to be sorted. Huge bank of parcels awaiting sorting. GPO sorters sorting parcels and putting them into despatch bags. Shots of parcels being repacked at Heartbreak Corner. CYPRESS GARDENS SANTA - CARD 72396 Santa Claus arrives by helicopter. Arrives on water skis. Various shots of bathing belles at the gardens.
